Set in the world of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, chaos spreads through Lumiose City as Mega Floette ex — the Eternal Flower Pokémon — turns devastating, and it falls to Mega Greninja ex and a cast of Kalos-era Mega Evolution Pokémon to push back the darkness.

Mega Greninja ex is the headline chase card of the set, joined by four other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Floette ex, Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Dragalge ex, and Mega Gallade ex (an English-exclusive addition not found in the Japanese base set).
