It’s been another busy few weeks behind the scenes at Loot Vault, and things are still looking a little different for us at the moment.
I’m still over in Finland working away at my day job, and I’ll be here for a while yet. Although I’m away from home, I’m still keeping on top of everything happening with Loot Vault behind the scenes.
Back home, Louise is continuing to handle the deliveries and everything that needs to be done on the ground. Having someone at home keeping things moving while I’m away has made a huge difference, and we’re doing our best to keep Loot Vault running as normally as possible.
It’s definitely not the easiest way to run a growing business, but we’re getting there and keeping things moving.
Something New at Loot Vault
One of the products we’ve recently added to Loot Vault is the Pokémon TCG: Lisia’s Shining Collector Gift Box – Simplified Chinese.
This is one of those products that really caught our attention because it’s a little different from some of the more familiar Pokémon TCG products you’ll see in the UK.
We’ve been trying to bring more unusual and interesting Pokémon products into Loot Vault, particularly items that collectors might not see every day. Simplified Chinese Pokémon products have become a really interesting part of the market, and we’re enjoying exploring what’s available.
The Lisia’s Shining Collector Gift Box is definitely one of the more eye-catching additions to the store, and we’re looking forward to seeing what collectors think of it.
Whats in the box you ask;
- 1x exclusive Lisia's Performance Special Illustration Holo card, unique to this box
- 4x Stellar Crystal (CSV9C) booster packs, 20 cards per pack
- 4x Crystal Gathering (CSV9.5C) booster packs, 10 cards per pack
- 5x Glory Together (CSV10C) booster packs, 20 cards per pack
- 64x Lisia-themed card sleeves
- 1x Lisia-themed deck storage box with 2 dividers
- 1x Lisia-themed card display frame
- 1x Adorable Altaria plush toy
We’ll continue looking for more products like this as we grow, including items from different Pokémon TCG regions and releases that offer something a little different.
Learning More About Simplified Chinese Pokémon Cards
With us bringing in more Simplified Chinese Pokémon products, we’ve also been doing a lot more research into the cards themselves.
One thing that has really stood out is just how important it is to be able to tell the difference between a genuine card and a fake.
There are some very convincing counterfeits out there, and as more collectors start buying cards and sealed products from different regions, knowing what to look for becomes increasingly important.
That’s why we’re going to be putting together another blog post specifically about how to spot fake Simplified Chinese Pokémon cards.
We’ll be going through some of the things to look out for, including printing, colouring, text, card quality and other details that can help you identify whether something looks genuine.
It’s something we think will be useful for collectors, especially anyone who is new to buying Simplified Chinese Pokémon products.
Keep an eye out for that one — it’ll be coming soon.
What’s Next for Loot Vault?
Even though I’m still away in Finland, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes.
We’re continuing to add new products to the website, looking at new stock and suppliers, and working on ways to keep growing Loot Vault.
We’re also continuing to look at potential locations for our Pokémon vending machines, as finding the right places for them remains a big part of what we want to achieve.
And, of course, we’re trying to get back into a better rhythm with our social media as well. There’s plenty we want to show you, so hopefully you’ll be seeing more of what’s happening behind the scenes over the next few weeks.
Thank You
As always, thank you to everyone supporting Loot Vault while we continue building the business.
Whether you’re buying products from the website, following along on social media, sharing our posts or simply checking out what we’re doing, we really do appreciate it.
We’re still learning, still growing and still figuring things out as we go — but we’re enjoying the journey.
There’s plenty more to come.
More soon.
